A: Therapy is conducted by a trained professional who works to identify patterns or factors negatively affecting you and improving your mental health. Therapy can absolutely help improve your mood, self awareness, reduce anxiety and depression and more.
Q: What kind of therapist are you?
A: I am a perinatal therapist, so I am focused on helping women navigate motherhood, a new identity, shifting relationships and role dynamics.
Q: How long does therapy typically last?
A: Depending on your situation, the average is 6 months of treatment. Some go much longer and some only need a few months.
Q: Do you take insurance?
A: Yes! i take a few insurance plans. I could also supply a bill for reimbursement for your insurer if you are out of network.
Q: How much is therapy?
A: Individual sessions are $180. If using insurance, you may have a copay depending on your insurer.
